A New Jersey native, Nicole Hunter holds a B.S. in Elementary Education and a M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She is an educator, Licensed Professional Counselor, Certified Clinical Trauma Practitioner, Clinical Director of New Pathways Youth and Adult Services and founder of Healing Hearts Counseling & Consulting Agency, LLC. She has over 17 years of experience as an educator and has been serving in the community mental health field for the past 6 years.

Ms. Hunter believes in meeting her clients where they are, building knowledge, skills and utilizing their strengths to foster change, achieve goals and build relationships. Having worked with a diverse population, Nicole specializes in helping individuals and families dealing with depression, anxiety, ADHD, and trauma. Nicole’s therapeutic approach is Client-Centered with elements of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Play Therapy and Reality Based therapeutic approaches.

 

Nicole is a proud dog mom who enjoys spending time with her family. As the founder of Healing Hearts Counseling Agency Nicole hopes bring awareness and insight to mental health issues, provide space for people to heal, grow and transform into the person they are longing to become.
